About Me

......"with a voice that is unique and soulful, the musical style that Victor Kulish brings to his audience is refreshing and captivating."

Starting at the age of five, Victor demonstrated a talent for a plethora of instruments. He was just as comfortable playing piano as guitar, tooting the trumpet or playing xylophone. By age nine he had made his first appearance with Chernovtsy Philharmonic Orchestra and appeared on Ukrainian TV.

Singing became an overwhelming passion in Victors life fueled by childhood gatherings around the piano with family. From that early age Victor knew that singing and composing were important aspects of his future.

"At night I would sneak away with the guitar and try to find a place to compose songs so that I wouldnt wake anyone up." Victors first major influence was the Beatles. "I heard the song Girl when I was twelve and I just fell in love. I quickly got my hands on every Beatles CD, Tape, and Songbook I could find." Other influences are Depeche Mode, Coldplay, Bjork, and Smashing Pumpkins. When Nirvana caught his attention it helped Victor to cultivate a new niche in Alternative Music.

Victor attended USC studying recording engineering and vocal arts. There was a short stint as an operatic Baritone, but Victor decided its not the direction he wanted to pursue at the moment. Victor has had classical voice training since age 15 studying with Peter Atherton, Richard Fredericks and Dora Walker.

Victors solo concerts have held the test of time attracting large audiences and leaving them wanting for more. His presentation is professional and representative of his many years experience. Watch for the original compositions of this rising artist. They are destined to leave a lasting impact in music today and will set the bar higher for other artists to aspire to.
