About Me

I'm an English Language and Culture student, which also includes the English lit. & my minor is Literary Studies. I want to do my PhD at Columbia univ. in English Poetry & Lit. Theory. I fluently speak & write Dutch, English and Turkish. I read German & French and I'm ready to learn Italian; the language of Love! I have attempted to learn Russian, but gave up after one week... definitely later, since I cannot stand reading Russian literature in translation. Right now I'm taking a course at college covering old Turkish, Persian and Arabic literature and language... I wonder if I can learn Arabic... I might give up after 2 weeks :) I'm a mixture of eccentricm and the-girl-next-door. I dress avant garde, but undressed im very classically open minded... I wear the new Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche on a Marilyn Monroe kind of way :) "Beauty, like ice, our footing does betray; Who can tread sure on the smooth, slippery way: Pleased with the surface, we glide swiftly on, And see the dangers that we cannot shun."-John Dryden"There is a sacred horror about everything grand. It is easy to admire mediocrity and hills; but whatever is too lofty, a genius as well as a mountain, an assembly as well as a masterpiece, seen too near, is appalling."-Victor Hugo. I never compromise so I like to avoid anything mediocre. I love you, the most beautiful violinist girl ever, ALINA POGOSTKINA: You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !
