Thanks For Nothing

Thanks For Nothing was formed in late December of 2003. Since then, they have played over 200 shows at many prestigious venues and events. With backgrounds from all styles of music and influences ranging from Aerosmith, U2, and Incubus to Ben Harper, Zeppelin, and A Perfect Circle, TFN has put together a sound that cannot be dubbed a certain type or style.In their first year, TFN had the opportunity to perform with many national acts such as Leon Russel, Afroman, and VANS WARPED TOUR Fav's Off By One. They hammered out almost 60 shows in their first year, and that is without even leaving Northwest Arkansas. With a set list of catching originals and classic covers from bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rick Springfield, and Guns N' Roses, TFN had not trouble finding a crowd to play to, or bringing one in.In TFN's second year, they release their debut album "Crashlight," Earned 2nd place at a 45 contestant Battle of The Bands (Consisting of bands from many large record labels), completed over 60 shows, Won nominations for Ozark Music Awards "Best New Band," "Best Modern Rock Band," Won Nominations in Northwest Arkansas Music Awards "Best Rock Band," and they have Performed at world famous "Bikes, Blues, and BBQ."In 2006, TFN really started picking up steam. Fans where piling into concerts and the band was traveling all over the midwestern states and entertaining crowds from ages 15 to 60. Thanks For Nothing had the opportunity in December of 2006 to share the stage with multi-platinum artist Bret Michaels of Poison.TFN is currently writing material for the second album and will be traveling to a city near you in the year 2007.
