J Dilla Tribute -- April 20th @ The Mark

About Me

My name's Chris, Chrisco, or Christopher depending on who you ask and how long and how well they've known me. I've run around Atlanta since 1994. Started dealing with music at 88.5fm as part of The Weekend Wrecking Crew in 1995. Promoted my first show in 1999. Moved over to 89.3fm later the same year. I was the first editor for Elemental Magazine starting in late '99/early 2000. Later in 2000, started Rent Money Records. My son was born in January 2001 and at the end of that year I stepped off the scene. Meant to take a short break, but I ended up disappeared for a few years. Started dabbling in music writing again in early 2005. By the end of the year, I launched World Famous Magazine. Published it for a year before calling it a day late last year. Now I'm doing some parties. I think they're fun, the people who show up say the same. Hopefully you'll get a chance to come see for yourself.

My Interests

Good music on the radio... Good movies with a chill date... Good food whenever (damn, I'm getting fat)...Staying up late to see a basketball game because I live in Atlanta and cheer for the Lakers... Getting up early because once you have kids, you just have to... Quitting my job so the middle of the day will be mine as well...

I'd like to meet:

People who will make my parties more fun. Interesting people of all types. People who are fun to look at. People who are fun to talk to. And especially the ones who are both.
