John Valentino

I was born in a suburb of Chicago,IL named North Chicago. My father was a military policeman and my mother was a nurse. I've been involved in music since I was in 2nd grade. I started off playing the drums and stopped when my teacher was shipped off to Vietnam. Damn, shows my age. In 4th grade I picked up the saxophone and have been playing it ever since. In high school, I played football and wrestled. After leaving North Chicago Community High School, I attended Northern Illinois University on a music scholarship.I toured with the 2 o'clock ensemble for 4 years. In addition to being a music major, I majored in Special Education/Elementary Ed. THE BEST THING I EVER DID, other than raising my 3 girls,was completing college. It sure makes a difference when you have that paper on the wall. Having a fulltime teaching position gives me an opportunity to pick and choose the gigs I want to do. I love bringing the real world into the classroom by sharing my experiences from the world of entertainment.I like learning new languages, traveling, listening to music, acting, performing, working out, golfing, and continuing my education.found this travel layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com
