Happy Holidays!

About Me

I was recently asked, what does photography mean to you? I am not eloquent by any means with words but here is a simple attempt to answer that question. Photography is a vehicle for me to capture moments in time that to me are beautiful and without flaw, moments and places that I wish to remember. Photography helps me to find a simple elegancy to life that isnt full of hate, greed, and lust. When I am wondering around on a sunny afternoon I often think about a different time and a foreign, simpler way of life, that is what I try to capture now by taking pictures. I have always believed that I was born in the wrong genre of time, some people say that is because in a past life I must of lived a simpler life. I dont believe in past lives so that cannot be true. I just long for an era of romance, a time where our lives where not ruled by time, money and technology, but family. Maybe it is because I grew up in Montana and that type of lifestyle will always be apart of me. Maybe it is because I see what this fast paced instance gratification, east coast lifestyle that society leads is doing to our youth, our country and our planet. I want people to look at my photographs and feel a calmness about them, maybe not the same feeling I get when I look at a flower or a building but a special unique feeling all of their own that provokes thoughts of a better way of life. Please, feel free to see some of my work, via the link below. Please keep in mind, I have just started to acknowledge this passion of mine, and this is all virgin work, I have not done any edit work to these pictures. Any and all comments would be appreciated.

My Interests

Photography architectural, and nature are my two favorites. However, beauty, it comes in various forms, written, spoken, sung, painted and even captured in print. I love to capture beauty in any form that I can whether it be a color that I fall in love with and in turn splash across the walls of the rooms that I dwell in. The smell of cedar and sage or something familiar. Whether it is a recording of an extraordinary jazz piece or a beautiful voice. Whether I am blessed to witness a perfect sunrise or a childs laughter. I love beauty in all forms. However, mostly I love it when I am able to catch the perfect angle at the perfect moment in time through the view of my shutters.
