MySpace Layouts MySpace Codes MySpace Backgrounds My name is Shawn, yes, Shawn like a boy...used to be Shawn Jasperson but now I'm Shawn Rouggly (like Rug-lee and rhymes with ugly). I grew up in Green River, Wyoming but ran out of there like my hair was on fire after graduation. I was always a band geek and probably most people I went to school with won't recognize me without one of those fancy green and white marching band uniforms or a saxaphone hanging around my neck. Well...long story short...if I haven't done it I've at least seen it done...and I may actually have the pictures to prove it. Now I'm officially an adult and realize how stupid I was (at least until I turned 27) and how fortunate I am to have made it that far relatively unscathed. Now I have a 7-year-old daughter who has cystic fibrosis and I have the joy of living through what I put my own parents through (sorry mom). My husband was 16 the day I was born and I never realized at age six that my step-son was coming into the world. I was never good at anatomy or Greek but now I'm a medical transcriptionist. I love animals (because they aren't people), photography, and most music (the exception being rap of any color)...I also love ballet but I don't look good in a tutu. I love inline skating and my 13-year-old pitbull loves to go too...she especially loves all the little dogs in the neighborhood (they taste kinda like chicken).

My Interests

Photography, gardening, pit bulls and other pets with BIG personalities, cars...

I'd like to meet:

Other parents of kids with cystic fibrosis...I always feel a little quarantined and out of touch...also I like to compare war stories of the battles we all fight with the insurance companies who try to mess with our kids' health.

Music:

Everything from Rascal Flats to Idina Menzel to Metallica to Alice In Chains. I'm kind of into Maroon 5 right now...Sheryl Crow is always the standby too...but Gwen Stefani is what is in my car right now.

Movies:

XMen...anything with Sean Connery...anything with Johnny Depp...Spiderman...Batman...see the pattern?

House, Heroes, CSI:Crime, Crossing Jordan, Medium

Books:

Anything Anne Rice or Jean Auel...I loved The Traveler by John Twelve Hawks
