(210) 348-6419
Monica Wright is a singer / songwriter who plays guitar and piano. Wright has recently completed a 5 song demo for which she writes/co-writes and performs all the songs. She is currently recording her first LP in San Antonio and Austin, TX.
Wright’s voice is reminiscent of the fluidity of Jewel, the cadence of Rachael Yamagata and the bite of Alanis Morissette. Wright is a natural performer whose voice falls over a crowd like soft confessions. The audience finds itself enchanted by her angelic voice and her dynamic personality.
Past Venues include: Atomix, Candlelight, Drink, Flying Saucer, Limelight, Luna, Order Up, Sam’s Burger Joint, and Starbuck’s.
Wright has performed with such local artists as: Alexis Anthony, Chris Taylor, Jack Reid, Rachel Swann, Find the Middle Ground, Matt McCormack, Aly Tadros, Sophie Severance, Spencer Gary, and Adolph Baez.
