Alex Giordani's work has really touched me. Please check out his music if you believe in magic. If you don't, do it anyway... and you will!!! He is the artist who has “simply†made me rediscover the pleasure of listening to the new music. Too flattering? Nothing but the truth! I was around when his impressive Essence was released; I’m still here to wait for his second album, which I’ve “seen†is just as incredible. I can’t discuss music technically. I can just “see†it and feel it as it comes to my senses in shapes and colors. And it’s just too good to find someone able “to paint†with sounds (and what a voice!) a beautiful scenery for our dreams and hopes. He wrote a song, "I see dreams", which is one of the most beautiful I know, and if I was to be turned into a song I'd like to be this one, as I see them too!

Here is another gem of Myspace. There are only "teasers" so far, fragments of songs which will keep you coming back for more, desperate to listen to the full version. And it..s all about a guitar and a man...singing his soul out, creating powerful images in yet delicate compositions. Beautiful... :o)

Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more, day by day,
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me, you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve;
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
(Christina Rossetti)
"Sirens have a weapon even more frightening than their song: their silence." (F. Kafka)
"I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think that they will sing to me. I have seen them riding seaward on the waves combing the white hair of the waves blown back when the wind blows the water. We have lingered in the chambers of the sea by sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown. Till human voices wake us and we drown." (T.S. Elliot)
"Forgive me, I can't speak louder.
I don't know when you are going to hear me; you, to whom I talk.
Will you hear me?
My name is Hor.
I beg you, place you ear near my lips, it doesn't matter how far you are from me now or at any other moment. Otherwise, you won't be able to understand me. Even though you accept my request, still many things won't be said. I need your voice everytime mine gets stuck in my throat." (M. Ende)
There are four legends concerning Prometheus:
According to the first he was clamped to a rock in the Caucasus for betraying the secrets of the gods to men, and the gods sent eagles to feed on his liver, which was perpetually renewed.
According to the second Prometheus, goaded by the pain of the tearing beaks, pressed himself deeper and deeper into the rock until he became one with it.
According to the third his treachery was forgotten in the course of thousands of years, forgotten by the gods, the eagles, forgotten by himself.
According to the fourth everyone grew weary of the meaningless affair. The gods grew weary, the eagles grew weary, the wound closed wearily.
There remains the inexplicable mass of rock. - The legend tries to explain the inexplicable. As it comes out of the substratum of truth it has in turn to end in the inexplicable. (F. Kafka)
