At the age of 27, British born Naomi Campbell has already conquered the fashion world, setting modeling runways and magazine covers ablaze with a sophisticated, sultry style that has made her a media star and international celebrity. After only a few years in the modeling business, she quickly began breaking new ground, becoming the first black model to appear on the covers of TIME MAGAZINE, and French and British VOGUE. Since then she has become a veritable renaissance woman proving herself exceptional beyond the realm of supermodel. In 1995, she made her debut as a recording artist with "Babywoman" released by Epic Records. Her release "La, La, La Love Song" with Japanese singer Toshi reached ..1 in Japan. Naomi has also appeared in numerous music videos including Michael Jackson's sizzling "In The Closet" video directed by Herb Ritts.Naomi is also making a name for herself in the world of film and television. Naomi is also active in many other initiatives supporting underprivileged children. She recently joined the Dalai Lama in fund raising efforts through UNESCO to build kindergartens for poor communities worldwide, the first to built in her name in her spiritual home of Jamaica.Â
