About Me

I'm on Facebook now! Sign on and create a profile on there if you haven't already! It's better than this site in some ways! Find me on there and add me if you want too, my space friends! UHA '99... ya heard!?! ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ========Hello to all who visit! First and foremost, I am a lover of life itself and all the potential beauty it offers! I appreciate the simple things in life. The plants, animals and nature as a whole. I like looking up at the night sky and finding certain planets, constellations, stars and realizing all the many millions of other people looking up, doing what I'm doing at that same moment. Reading is something I value very much. But it's not just to read but what you read that matters. I'm into the pre-historic past, the mysteries of mankind's heritage. Ancient Monuments spanning the globe that share certain astronomical alignments with each other that are far beyond coincidence. The general seeking out of "from whence we came" so that man will know as much as he/she can about the past to make our present a better, richer, fuller one and our future that much more filled with hope and understanding. I have a special place in my soul for the land of Egypt and hope to go visit there at least once in my lifetime. More specifically, The three main pyramids(especially the Great Pyramid) and the Sphinx(known as the mystery of mysteries) at Giza.======================================================= ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ =There's nothing like good guacamole dip. I would characterize myself as someone that does NOT fit any mold. I am different and I like to be such. I was born in Ashland, KY and grew up on the other side of the state in Hopkinsville. I moved away from my hometown(Hopkinsville) after graduating high school to North Carolina where I am located now. I miss friends that I haven't seen in so long from there and I hope to be able to visit and check up on them all in time. Currently, I go back and forth from Ashland to here as my family now owns another home in Ashland.==================================================== ============================================================ ============================================================ =====I also love real good Cannabis! I consider myself well versed on the grand subject(Which you can't find taught in any university) of all things Cannabis!.================================================== ============================================================ ==I am particularly fascinated with its history which stretches back at least 12,000 years (of course, Cannabis is far older than mankind itself but its history with man is this old at least) and is full of instances where man has relied upon this plant for various reasons. It was used with rice in the first paper ever made. It was a major part of the early United States economy and there was even a time in the 17th and early 18th century(colonial times) where a landowner HAD to grow it or they would be fined a hefty sum or even be put in jail! They had too because of the need for hemp sails, rigging, paper, hemp sealant for the bottom of wooden boats, clothing, nutrition(hemp seed), lamp oil(hemp oil fueled the majority of the lanterns of the world from the B.C. era all the way up to the advent of whale oil being used for lamps instead starting in the mid 19th century. These are just a very few of the examples of how much a part of our history and culture this plant has been and we certainly wouldn't be in the technological position we are in today without its great rippling-through-time influence. ============================================================ ============================================================ =========Even despite of our society's present and recent past shunning and not mentioning the word "hemp" or "cannabis" in a classroom anywhere in the U.S. in any other way than in the negative(d.a.r.e. and other anti-drug propaganda), this essential knowledge of the importance of this plant to mankind is rising in the minds of the young more and more so everyday by way of word-of-mouth, the internet, and published books on the subject. I hope to see it accepted in society much like alcohol has been, it's safer for your health and the results of intoxication never causes one to become violent or irrational. ============================================================ ============================================================ ===========I'd like to see Canna-Cafe's in every city and town in the country competing against the old warn out bar's and against the headache inducing mega clubs with 90 decibels blaring and no one able to hear each other. A place where people can relax, talk and smoke or eat a variety of strains and snacks. Maybe listen to chill type music, reggae, ska, jazz, or such. Have the place web-friendly via multiple laptops and wireless router. Maybe throw in some nice size tv's with video game consoles set up for the patrons. ============================================================ ================== Just generally have a PLACE for those who prefer this herb, this flower as a recreational activity over substances that are dangerous to your mind, body and soul such as alcohol, cigarettes, countless pharmaceuticals, and hard drugs. Just an idea now but maybe will come to fruition in time. The models for this type of legit business are already very real places of business in the Netherlands and starting in a few other countries in Europe. Canada has something very similar except that they aren't yet able to sell the herb from the cafe but patrons can come in and bring their own and roll up or pack up right at the booths inside and smoke in comfort and safety. They offer food at these places as a way to create revenue to stay afloat but would, of course, do a thousand times better and actually profit if they could offer Cannabis legitamtely. ============================================================ ============================================================ ================================ I go on and on about this because people that partake of Pot are looked down upon by some as anti-social types, lazy, burn-outs, degenerates, ignorant, low-class, or criminals. ============================================================ ===== The main reason for this is that for over a 70 year period The Cannabis Culture I like to call it(those united by the partaking of this herb) have been demonized, put down, imprisoned, harassed, whole families split apart, brainwashed into thinking it's some devil weed, not told the truth about it as kids, using programs like D.A.R.E. to spew endless lies about the plant and then trying to use our children against us by probing in their young naive minds about what Mommy and Daddy might be smoking or growing and telling their new cop friend(That actually intimidates the young by wearing their full police belt into schools, gun included, or even bringing the damn dog to make friends with the really young and to intimidate the older kids) any and all they know. ============================================================ ============================================================ ===== Tens of thousands of people have had their children taken away and themselves put in jail because of this simple, effective and dirty as hell method of using our young children as spies against us. And that is just the tip of the prohibition iceberg when it comes to Cannabis Prohibition's 70 year history. Alcohol Prohibition lasted 11 years. ============================================================ ====== It took a constitutional amendment to enact alcohol prohibition and another to repeal it. With this over 6 times longer prohibition of herb, all it took to begin it was a tax stamp, a lousy tax stamp, that's it! A stamp that was intentionally made to never be redeemed. Simply because the U.S. Government never let anyone ever have them. Only a few were printed at the beginning but even these few never made it into public circulation. And then they never printed another. Isn't that some bullshit for ya! ============================================================ ============================================================ ===== Fortunately it won't take a constitutional amendment to repeal this prohibition. Just the people truly uniting no matter sex, race and religion(or lack thereof) getting behind the idea that there is MUCH LESS to be ashamed of smoking a joint than having a glass of beer, wine, or a shot of hard liquor or even smoking a cigarette!! ============================================================ ======= The people together saying that it is Safer thus Smarter for people to smoke Cannabis recreationally than to partake of the already very legal very accepted Tobacco or Alcohol! ============================================================ ===========This is the very argument made in Denver, Colorado this past year when Cannabis reform advocates successfully and for the first time anywhere in the U.S. Legalized the Recreational use of the herb up to two ounces per person for personal possession. Note that this is a City Law change, not the state but it signifies the beginning of the struggle for recreational use legitamacy instead of the medical use legitamacy argument that although correct also, does not cover all the bases of full legalization that Cannabis rightfully deserves. Therefore, The New SAFER Campaign is born. Pot's Safer than the other recreants, legal and illegal, period. Very Simple. And irrefutable because it's true. ============================================================ ============================================================ ===== Why have substances that are lethal in small overdose amounts like alcohol, at a ratio of 4:1 (meaning it only takes, on average, four times the amount of alcohol to KILL YOU than it does to get you drunk) or many different legal pain meds with very high death to effect ratios as well, become socially accepted and a Mild Euphoriant That is literally the safest therapeutically active substance known to man become somehow illegal and publically forbidden!?================================================= ============================================================ ============================================================ ================== The Answer: Money, Power, Control, Manipulation, Persuasion, Demonization, Lies, Negative stereotypes, and Capitalism because of the inherent Competition That Cannabis held and would hold in the marketplace[EX: The alcohol and pharmaceutical companies are just two sector's of many powers-that-be that had to do and have to do with it's continuing illegalization. Others include because of the significance of Industrial Hemp the Paper industry, the timber industry, the oil, gas, petro-plastics and coal industries, the cotton industry and even the Steel Industry because of Henry Ford's idea of composites from plant-based resin(plastic but derived from plant matter, not from oil like currently made) to make cars out of in the latter years of his life.] ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ === I encourage all who visit here and read this to search and seek out the truth for yourself. You'll come to similar conclusions about Cannabis because the truth about something always eventually becomes made known to all who seek with an open-heart first, an open-mind second.===================================================== ============================================================ ============================================================ ==== Anyways, There is much I haven't said or shared about me or my beliefs but you can get a slice of my hopes, cares and thoughts, from the above. Peace and Happiness my friends... to The Cannabis Culture ...and to Humanity as a Whole! --------Michael.============================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ============================================================ ============The History Of Marijuana

In other words, who needs it for true learning when you can already read. Being interested therefore leading to knowledge in a variety of things in life (well-roundedness) is far more important than whether or not you have a college diploma. I tried it long enough to learn this shit for myself. College Dropout and proud of it(I'd rather drop out of that damn net instead of dropping into it), Didn't finish, not going back, don't feel I really have too now to succeed in life in the future.

In the past month have you Smoked: I've not smoked cigarettes in the past month or year for that matter.
In the past month have you been on Drugs: I was sitting on a tylenol the other day so I guess I've "Been on Drugs" in the most literal, real way you can be! Other than that the ONLY thing I Take that could possibly be considered a drug by some is Cannabis! It's actually an herb (Raw) rather than a drug (man-made and/or refined) other than the very rare times I might have a beer.
In the past month have you gone on a Date: No, but haven't asked anyone out for a while either.
In the past month have you gone to a Mall: yes

Ever been called a Tease: No
Ever been Beaten up: No
Ever Shoplifted: No
How do you want to Die: I won't die, I'll just wake up in Heaven, our true world. Christ said something like ...We are in this world(referring to the physical earth) But we are not of this world. OUR true home of which we are all a part of is Heaven. And it is within each and all of us. The even more real than the physical universe where we now find ourselves. The universe of the spirit(of love), the house of God, our true place, exceeds by far the greatness of the universe we see when we're here on earth. We'll never really die, we're eternal beings that existed in the mind of our creator long before the beginning of time and the physical universe itself. The mind or logos from whence we came and fell from is where we're all trying to head back too. Thus the reason for my headline quote.
What do you want to be when you Grow Up: Be Myself. And know myself to be myself and to treat others the way i would like to be treated.
What country would you most like to Visit: Egypt, The Netherlands and Canada are the top 3!
In a Boy/Girl..
Favourite Eye Color: Like' em all... matters more who is looking through them, not what they look like.
Favourite Hair Color: any
Short or Long Hair: preferably long but i don't really care too much.
Height: any
Weight: I'll just say no more than I weigh and leave it at that.
Best Clothing Style: any
Number of Drugs I have taken: Don't even get me started! Sugar is a Drug, caffeine is a drug, aspirin is a drug, shit television is even a drug! The word "Drugs" is so terribly general it doesn't even mean anything to me! You could consider just about anything and everything a "Drug" if it can be physically addictive. So, the question should be... What number of Drugs have I not taken? ...I've never nor will ever be on any "Hard-Drugs" or strong legal shit that gets prescribed to people.
Number of CDs I own: Whole bunch
Number of Piercings: None
Number of Tattoos: None
Number of things in my Past I Regret: A bunch but at the same time not really anything too important.
