Boats, beer, vegetables, ancient stuff, medieval stuff, bodies of water, strategy, pirates, Mick Ronson's guitar sound, vintage cameras, stories about acid trips, Macintosh computers, Georgia's chubby cheeks, wind generators, teapots, Mexico, Volvos, swords, fuzz pedals, plants, futuristic stuff, pickles, .
My doppleganger. Or a cartoon version of me, like the one below.
Lots of heavy 70's glam, metal, and stoner stuff like David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Queen, Deep Purple, Sweet, Pink Floyd, Kiss, T Rex, Judas Priest, New York Dolls, Iggy, Mott the Hoople, Ramones, Uriah Heep.
60's stuff like the Beatles (duh), Harry Nilsson ("The Point" is beyond great), the Kinks, Creedence, Booker T and the MG's, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Burdon and the Animals.
Some 80's (from my adolescenthood) like Blondie, the Cars, Thomas Dolby, the Specials, Devo, Dead Kennedys, the Police, Foreigner.
Random old jazz, country, funk, disco like Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, the Meters, Louis Jordan, Hank Williams, the Inkspots, Earth Wind and Fire, Cab Calloway, Willie Nelson, Ike and Tina, whatever.
More "contemporary" favorites include Air, Sahara Hotnights, Weezer, Fu Manchu, the Darkness, the Breeders, Fucking Champs, John Spencer Blues Explosion, Portishead, Spoon, Turbonegro, and my man in the trenches, Schaffer the Darklord.
Oh, there's also all the old groovy television library music from the 60's and 70's, cartoon music from the 20's and 30's, and Beethoven. Dude, Beethoven is just too much...
Blade Runner, Gladiator, Clockwork Orange, Star Wars (the first one), Lord of the Rings (pretty much all three, plus Bakshi's animated one), Napoleon Dynamite, Time Bandits, Spirited Away, The Life Aquatic (with Steve Zissou), Office Space, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, I can't remember any more right now...
I don't watch that much. All my faves are on PBS. Except some that are on cable, but I don't have cable, so I never get to watch them. I do like watching reruns of Seinfeld, though. And Everybody Loves Raymond. I liked Three's Company a lot when I was a kid. I dislike reality shows, except for cooking shows.
I don't know how to read. But I'd probably like books by Vladimir Nabakov, Philip K. Dick, and J.R.R. Tolkein if I did. And Charles Bukowski.
Uh, I don't know.
