About Me

How things change, my new hometown is now Atlanta, Georgia. My updated profile is soon to come:I am 27 years old and currently reside in New York City. I am originally from Detroit, but have been residing in New York since 1997 pursueing my passion of acting and also modeling.I love New York, there is no place like it on the planet. I have grown so much since I have been here and had many experiences, good and bad, which have taught me a lot about myself. While here I have probably worked about every kind of job you could imagine, been to school and back more times than probably most can count in an eight year period, but through it all I keep on keeping on. Until I reach my destiny. I know it is coming soon. If it's one thing that most people that know me know, it's that I am not afraid to try something new. When things got really rough at one point and I just wanted out, I went on search for a new beginning. That's when I saw an ad in the classifieds to be a Flight Attendant for a charter airline that does military flights. So for about a year I traveled the world with the U.S. military going everywhere from Kuwait, Canary Islands, Cape Verde (Africa), Ireland, Germany, Hawaii, Turkey, Bulgaria...and many other destinations that most people probably wouldn't want to go...lol...but I loved it for the time that I did it. But then I realized I had to come back to reality!!! And face my life!!! I'm an actor!!! Not a "Waitor in the Sky"!!! Don't get me wrong..actually flight attendants do have to be smart, we were the one's who would have to save y'all butts if something bad happened! Anyways...lol...So here I am back in the Big Apple. Back to pounding the pavement...and my life takes a drastic change. In December of 2005, the week of Christmas I lost my favorite sister in a tragic car accident. Talk about the worst Christmas ever. On top of that my mom had been battling cancer which was not getting any better at this time. Tragically I lost her in March of this year, a week after my birthday. What else right? Well my two favorite people are gone. But I refuse to let that deter me from my higher purpose in life. God is still my Rock and I know that he still has wonderful things in store for me, despite the despair and tragedy we sometimes face in this world.I've decided to not walk around and mope and ask "Why me?". Instead I am going to take each day as it comes and embrace it. The good and the bad. I am going to not just excel in my career as an actor and model, but I will become one of the best. This is the lesson I have learned in all of this. We don't have tommorow to wait to be better, we have to be our best today. So I'm seizing the moment right now, every moment, and enjoying each breath that I take. This is only the beginning....Stay tuned to see where my journey leads me....

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Oprah, can't wait until the day I am on her show!...Sidney Poitier, the reason I am an actor today!

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !

Music:

I love all types of music. But Gospel music is what keeps me going, and keeps me connected. When I am not listening to Gospel...I love my R&B jams, and ofcourse Hip Hop. I won't front..I think sometimes I am an undercover Hip Hop Head. :) The beat just gets ya sometimes!

Television:

Don't really watch much t.v. What ever happened to good shows like "The Cosby's"?

Books:

I love love love to read. I swear there is nothing better than a good book. I read a lot of spiritual books, but I also like good novels and autobiographies.

Heroes:

My mom (Shining down on me from heaven)...And Jesus Christ (The best thing that could have ever happened in my life)..When I was blind and doing things the way I wanted, he woke me up and allowed me to see the way to true life...THROUGH HIM! Thank you Jesus...
