I'm quite happy to be from the biggest blue city and state in the midwest. I moved to NYC over 2 years ago to chase a dream, and low and behold I found it. So I do my best to remind myself of that on days where I feel like a really bitter new yorker. People are usually surprised when they see I have my tounge pierced. People are equally intrigued when they learn that I went to private catholic school from Pre-School to 8th Grade (don't worry I am recovering quite nicely). I don't eat meat, but I do eat fish. So I suppose that makes me a fishetarian. I love cheese and ice cream. I love to dance. I am a bit of a nerd. And I am also a lush. I can wander around any city/neighborhood with a cup of coffee in hand and some music in my ears and be content for hours.
