About Me

"If you do not give right attention to the one you love, it is a kind of killing. When you are in the car together, if you are lost in your thoughts, assuming you already know everything about her, she will slowly die." - Thich Nhat Hanh

Two words: Corporate Goth
Local Promoter/Event Coordinator/Telecommunications minion with strong social kung fu and a keen affinity for vodka tonics and a penchant for good decor. Passionate, independent, quirky, silly, hopeless romantic, intense, loyal, and a little strange am I. In short I am a diverse individual with a multitude of interests that extend outside of the scene.

My Interests

Keeping my kitty happy and trying to teach Jax something new so he'll stop cat calling guests when they come over. Going to the gym, dancing, opera, jigsaw puzzles (laugh all you want but I never grew out of it), snowglobes, playing the piano, tea hats, peacock feathers, candles, thai cuisine, martini's, and a plethora of other silly things.

Books:

Art books covering the Pre-Raphaelites, Art Deco, and Art Nouveau. Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors..if you know his works then you know that I need not say anymore. "The Master and Margarita" Mikhail Bulgakov. Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series (yes I know..I am very aware it's gothic cheese but it's fun to read). Robin McKinley's "Sunshine" is one that I highly recommend. Harry Potter. Charlotte Bronte's "Wuthering Heights". PG Wodehouse. And I've always enjoyed graphic novels.
