About Me

Bands! Please read below in the BIG BOLD SECTION that says "BOOKING" in green.
The venue: Hollywood Alley is a 21+ venue in Mesa that has been doing live music for over 15 years and has hosted shows for a number of touring underground rock bands ...too many to name (but fond memories recall Brian Jonestown Massacre, Rocket From The Crypt, Big Drill Car, Street Walkin' Cheetahs, Bellrays, Nomads, Syl Sylvain, Supagroup, Sonny Vincent, Wipers, Dead Moon, Jay Reatard, Easy Action, Dixie Witch, Alabama Thunderpussy, Melt Banana, Hemi Cuda, Neil Hamburger, Public Enemy, Ghostland Observatory, The Lazy Cowgirls, NoMeansNo, High On Fire, Lydia Lunch, Jeff Dahl Group, Electric Frankenstein, and I am sure I am forgetting a few dozen more). Hollywood Alley also hosted the SHoD IV festival in 2002, 2006, and will host it in 2007. We have the best and loudest PA for any 200-250 range venue in Arizona. We are a full service bar that is open at 6am for the graveyard shifters and is kept open for a their lunch and happy hour attendees. The Alley also boasts about a dozen or so TVs so television, sports, and bad films on VHS are a daily activity. We also have a nifty retro game room with alot of your favorite pinball and arcade games from the 80s. Once 8pm rolls around, The 'Alley transforms itself into one of the longest running and best reputable rock n roll venues within Metro Phoenix (19 years and running!). And most importantly, we are family owned (not corporate). We are owned and operated by three generations of a family that can been seen working day and night, 7 days a week.
Every Monday it's music and comedy with Page the Village Idiot. Read what New Times has to say about him in July 6th , 2006 issue: http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/Issues/2006-07-06/music/revol ver.html
Directions: Hollywood Alley is located at 2610 West Baseline in Mesa, AZ which is 1/8 mile east of the Loop 101 and the Tempe border. Here's a Mapquest link.

Hollywood Alley's Back Game Room:

The game room features two pool tables, bubble hockey, air hockey, darts, Megatouch Trivia, Police Trainer, Golden Tee Live, Golden Tee 2004, Big Buck Hunter, Blitz 99, World Class Bowling, Sharkey's Shootput (pinball), Ms. Pacman, Revenge of Doh, Arkanoid, Dragon Spirit, Ghost 'n Goblins, Defender, and Pigskin. Don't worry! The Hollywood Alley staff carries plenty of quarters to make change with.
Hollywood Alley Proudly Features:
TITO's Vodka. Some believe the best Vodka comes from Russia. Others think the best comes from Sweden and while many others name countries like Netherlands, France, and Holland. Well, according to a great deal of our customers, the best vodka in the world comes from right here in the USA...Austin Texas to be exact. Come on down and get yourself a cocktail made with Tito's Vodka. It's 80 proof and distilled six times. Very Smooth! Try it straight on the rocks.
Fine Draft Beers from Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe and Deschutes Brewery in Oregon. We have over 20 beers on tap from the most well known domestics, to some of the most popular premiums and imports. We feature 5 of the best microbrews in the U.S. on tap. From Four Peaks we have Kilt Lifter Scottish-Style Ale, 8th Street Ale, and Hefeweizen and from Deschutes we carry Black Butte Porter and Mirror Pond Pale Ale.
If your tastes are more expensive and exotic we also have Lindemans Framboise Raspberry Lambic on tap as well.
