Kaotik System

Founded in 2003 by a small group of friends, Kaotik System's main purpose is to support and maintain the rise of Electronic music in Lebanon. The collective started to organize small events (In Bickfaya and Beirut..) then was contacted by the French Cultural Center to participate to the annual "Fete de la Musique", on a regular basis. The styles played by the Kaotik Dj's ranged from Drum n'Bass to Electro to Hardtek to Hardcore, with only one .. to make people discover and enjoy original and innovative music. Came 2004, and Kaotik System decided to organize something big, something people would not forget: Electronic Music Festival in West Bekaa Country Club was set up. A three-day outdoor non-stop rave, which featured many talented Lebanese artists (Including Kaotik's very own Kapushka) and internationally reknowned DJ's such as Elisa Do Brazil, Dr Macabre, Torgull, members of the French collectives Heretik, Epileptik, TroublesFete and Teknomad, Manu le Malin... and special guest Breakcore genius Aaron Spectre. Followed a series of events featuring Heretik and TroublesFete artists collaborating with Kaotik System (In Club Social, Gemmaye, X-OM...). Kaotik System's status also went from local to Middle-Eastern, since "Hostage Night" in Damascus, Syria was set up and was hugely successful. 2005/2006 New Year's Eve saw the "Haunted Hotel" party in Faraya take place; but 2006 also saw the rise of the more radical Kaotik sub-branch: Kaotik Crew, solely in charge of organizing the Free Partees.
