Bio
After having recorded several solo or duo tracks, Guillaume Collet and Antoine Ducoin, who both love fiddling with sounds, decided to gather their work in one album : Ressance - 2000.
It's only then, after this first album was finished, and after they were joined by Romain Piegay (drums) and moved in what would become their studio, near
Nantes, that the Rome Buyce Night project was launched. Surely the tone was set by various reference bands in the first place (Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo, Godspeed, Rroslicoeur, etc..), but Rome Buyce Night nonetheless showed a great will to make its own way when they created a definitely dynamic kind of music : from experimental post-rock and noiise to psychedelic.
Rome Buyce Night's music is free because it is based on improvisation. The foundation act was signed in 2001 when the four tracks album Petit Intrieur came out, followed by Actone 2003 and Luminaires 2005.
