About Me

Old School is the voice of mainstream street culture. In the pursuit to better understand the urban consumers wants and needs weve developed an urban collection of lifestyle apparel that fuses free form art with pop culture. Our New York City based artists create each piece by hand using an array of mediums to ensure that the garment is unique. Old School is dedicated to art, lifestyle, and culture.OLDSCHOOLNYC hit the streets of NYC customizing trucker caps with an old school flava. Each day they implemented Christopher Schult’s selling and merchandising strategies until people took notice. Within minutes they received recognition from just about everyone that walked down Broadway. From top stylists to celebs; world-renowned magazines to homeless men who just wanted to be down. It didn’t take long for established clothing labels such as Republica and School of Hard Knocks to call upon OLDSCHOOLNYC to manufacture private label clothing for their collections. Christopher knew he was on to something more than just caps. With 10+ years in the retail business and schooling at both FIT and Parsons, Queens-bred designer Christopher Schult is more than ready to explode into the fashion world. Fusing his love for urban culture and fashion this driven entrepreneur took it upon himself to bring OLDSCHOOLNYC mainstream. While appealing to a larger audience; OLDSCHOOLNYC will continue to establish their brand recognition through their collection.
