About Me

There's surely some things I could write about myself here. However, first and foremost I think of myself as a songwriter. Good or bad, that's me to the core, my essence. So, anything there is to find out about me is in my songs. That's who I am. I never write a song just because I think it's time to write a song. I write when the feeling strikes. Anything else is contrived and dishonest as far as I'm concerned. I certainly don't write for the money. I write when I'm moved. I will go without writing for as long as it takes, as long as the next song is real. Some people paint pictures, some write novels, others take photographs. I write songs. Listen.
