About Me
FIRST of all,I'm Kurt Dellutri,
and i play Guitar,Lead Guitar.
That about sums up who i am,and what i'm all about. Yeah,i sing,play some keys,write songs,record,ect-but its all secondary to hammer'n on the ol axe.I prefer Fender's,and own four Strats,But ive also got a bitchen old Gibson S-G,-its bad ass-and i play through-what else?-a MARSHALL stack !yep-streight in,except for a cry-baby wah wah and alittle delay-thats all i need to sooth that craving in my soul ,that crys for asskick'n rock'nroll or lowdown Blues.
As early as i can remember,i was influenced by the BEATLES.Their universal apeal to adults, teens,and kids,but mainly GIRLS,is what got me into this here music thing.My influences changed,or evolved over the years,to the present,where my BLUES,METAL,(or Hard,Acid Rock,Power Blues)Style is what i'm into today.Yep ,the old Power Trio...is what i prefer.
Now being a teenage Rocker that was start'n out right in the middle of "DISCO'S" peak...i learned and dug all the hot new dances...and dug partying at the niteclub dance scenes around town-"HOLLYWOOD"it was pretty wild...for this ROCK'N ROLL MANIAC....like hav'n the best of both worlds!So yeah, i like alot of dance and disco bands and they do influence me to some degree,maybe not so much my playing style as my attitude or stage presence.to name a few PRINCE,KC,KYLIE MINOGUE,NO DOUBT,LISA STANSFIELD,and of course ,the QUEEN of em all-MADONNA-So there ya have it .I cant list all the styles and bands that have inluenced me as they all have in one way or another-even punk,thrash,new wave,country and even RAP-yeah yeah,but as ive been told through out the years,and even today in this ever changing world ,and changing times of musical tastes,-when-"THEYRE TELL'N US ROCK IS DEAD,well,WE AINT DEAD YET!..and i know i wont go down...with out a sound..no way no how !!and i'm gonna always play the most kick ass rock and low down blues untill theyre pry'n my stratocaster from my cold dead fingers...and i'm hitt'n that blue heaven in the sky.
