Born in Arizona and brought up between the wild deserts of the west and the rich cultural tapestry of Bluegrass Appalachia, JEREMY KENT grew up appreciating his father’s outlaw poets as well as his mother’s Kentucky gospel harmonies. Armed with these musical influences, it’s only natural that Jeremy would pursue a career in country music! JEREMY KENT’s performing and songwriting led him first to Los Angeles and now Nashville. His music has quickly gained a strong following in the country community. His song, Missin' The South, is part of the 2008 CMT Music Awards Preshow music selection. (Jeremy is the only unsigned artist to be included!) JEREMY KENT won KZLA’s “Hometown Hero†honor in Los Angeles. His original song, So Far Away, received airplay along with a live interview on what was then, America’s most listened-to country station. He also made the final cut in the national Country Thunder “Young Guns†online contest.
