Music quickly becomes a passion for Antoine (his real name) : at the age of ten, he plays with his mike and headphones, dreaming of becoming a radio dj.In the early 80s, he falls in love with Depeche Mode and other electronic music pionneers such as Kraftwerk.In 1989, his friend Aussman plays him a few masterpieces of his vinyl collection, and takes him to the « Boy », the only club in Paris where those strange sounding records are played.
The « ravelation » is immediate.The year after, he gets a pair of decks, and two years later he performs in the very first parisian raves (Mozinor, Osiris, Cosmos Factory).DJedi begins to organise regular parties in 1993 : he is part of the Mentasm crew alongside Laurent and Chaotik Ramses (both founders of the D-Mention festival).
From 1996 to 2001, he drives the famous EL.UE private parties, gathering the techno heads of Paris for unforgettable nights. With the parties growing bigger and bigger, he helps many bedroom DJs by giving them a chance to play for a wild and happy audience. Thanks to EL.UE, most of them are now part of the parisian scene.
The adventure continues today under a new party name : Play.
With 8 events, former EL.UE fans and newcomers had the chance to hear many international DJs such as Frank Müller, Percy X, Mau Mau, Tim Taylor, Vitalic, The HackerJuggling between many occupations, Antoine also begins producing in 1995 In 1999, he starts the label Calme Records, with Virginie and Yann (two former members of EL.UE).
French artists such as Chaotik Ramses, Lab Insect, Mannix, lAnge Gabriel, Axel, the young and talented Drake Dehlen have their tracks on the first releases.
He produces his own tracks under the name DJedi and has several duo projects : Alpha Layer with Mark Hacyn, Ghost Dancers with Drake Dehlen, and Stereotrap with Pascal Morel.In 2000, he learns the basics of sound design and works for two advertising films for NRJ Radio and Skin, a fragrance from Tussardi, and many others tv commercials like troc de l'ile, citroen, renault, .... The year after, he writes soundtracks for 2 movies : Frogz by Guillaume Tunzini and H.K, a movie about martial arts.He released his first album in 2005 EL.UE on scandium records, and now working on his second one.
