envoyé par djomxIn 1994 Oxyd discovered electronic music by listening to the weekly trance broadcasts of a national French radio. After spending time surfing on the local radios he became an unconditional fan of Radio Nova, which was starring Laurent Garnier. The quality of Garniers eclectic sets was absolutely captivating and led Oxyd into the early years of house /techno music. This learning period revealed a deep passion for the first tracks of acid house (Phuture, Armando, Adonis) and for Detroit techno (Mad Mike, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson).
In 1997 he made his debut as a DJ and discovered Paris night parties, especially those at the mythical Rex Club, of which he had heard so many times.
2000 was the year of his first big appearance. After sending a demo he was invited to make the warm up of a rave party in Paris, at the age of 18, and was the first part of famous French artists like: Scan X, Tonio, Sextoy, Micropoint... Few months later, he plays on Horizon FM, a local radio in Paris south district. The same year saw him at the Astropolis festival, where he met Djedi, owner of the label Calme Records and organizer of the fabulous El.ue & Play parties.
In 2003 he signed to the French record label, Calme Records.
In 2004 he became a constant guest of Triangle FM, a radio located in southwest Paris. He began recording with a friend and placed third at a remix contest for a 12" of Electric Rescue aka Djedi for the label Scandium Records.
