Wachusett Brewing Company's founders, Ned, Kevin & Peter, developed a significant appreciation for beer while attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute together. After graduation, adventures in biking, canoeing & hiking led the trio of friends all around New England. These travels afforded them the opportunity to experience some of the Northeast's first operating craft breweries.
Inspired and driven to the core, they founded Wachusett Brewing Company in 1993. Applying their engineering & biology backgrounds to brewing and bottling the boys spent the next year experimenting and tweaking to get a formula that they could call the finest and freshest ale from Boston to the Berkshires. That formula, Wachusett Country Ale, was introduced to Massachusetts in 1994 as the company's flagship. Ned, Kevin & Peter along with comrade volunteers supported the small, start-up brewery with everything from designing & building most of the equipment, brewing & filling to sales & deliveries.
Now, 14 years later Ned, Kevin & Peter are backed by some of the most passionate & capable co-workers in the industry, producing eleven tasty ales for craft beer drinkers like themselves. Still bottled and kegged in Westminster, Massachusetts, Wachusett Brewing Company's Ales continue to be hand-crafted with the finest ingredients available so you can enjoy with friends.
