Daywind also represents Bluegrass at its best with artists like Chigger Hill Boys & Terri as well as mainstream Country artist, Beverley Mitchell.
Daywind, through its sister label, Vital, is breaking ground in other styles as well. With debut releases coming from New Harvest and Adam Paul Williams, the 2005 and 2006 Exalting Him National Talent Search winners, and the latest effort from Dove Award-nominated Christ Tabernacle Choir, Vital will break ground in the Gospel and Inspirational genres.
Daywind artists have been honored with awards and nominations too numerous to mention, but including Grammy, Dove and Singing News Fan Awards. The company was named one of the Top 10 Christian labels by Christian Retailing Magazine and its publishing company, Christian Taylor Music, has been named Christian Publisher of the Year by BMI in 2002 and 2004.
