THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR LISTENING!

About Me

FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2008, BO'S STORY WAS FEATURED IN THE CHRISTIAN VOICE MAGAZINE. SHE IS SO THANKFUL TO SGM FANFAIR AND LAURA KENNEDY FOR WRITING THE ARTICLE.Thanks for your interest in reading MY Bio. Bo Cox is from Whitwell, Tennessee. She is married to Johnny Cox. They have two children Garrett 13 and Abigail 4.Bo has always loved to sing. As a child she would sing for family and friends. But it was not until she accepted Christ as her savior at age 19 and just out of college, that she began to sing seriously. Bo has a powerful soprano voice with outstanding range and has been singing her way into peoples hearts along the way. The heart felt passion and excitement in her singing brings life to an entire audience. By sharing her story of the dark times in life and how God has miraculaously transformed her and her entire family have brought hope and encouragement to lives near the depths of despair. Bo enjoys singing anywhere that Christ can be magnified. Whether it be at churches, Ladies Conferences, or County fairs to name a few.Bo started singing with Johnny's family soon after they met in 1993. They started the trio formerly known as, "Crimson Flow." They traveled for over six years. After the group ended, Bo began singing solo. Many people encouraged Bo to record a CD. After much prayer, Bo did. Her small budget CD in early 2000, "Take up your Cross," has several original songs written by Bo, and has become a favorite to family and friends. The money for this project was given to Bo from her church as well as a new sound system showing their support for her ministry. In late 2000, Bo put her ministry on hold when sickness struck her mother. At age 49 she was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Bo helped take care of her mother until her death in 2004. God has truly shown her HIS Soverienty and Power throughout her trials and answered many prayers through her mothers sickness and how she could and did have Joy unspeakable through that sickness.Bo has been desiring God to move in her singing Ministry and God is opening doors daily. Over the years, she has sang on the same stage with Ernie Dawson and Heirline, which she fills in occationally for them when needed, Ricky Scaggs, The Crabb Family, Naomi and the Segos, Mike and Kelly Bowling and Crossway to name a few. Recently, on March 31, 2007, Bo entered the Southern Gospel Music fanfair talent contest and won first place. The prize consisted of a recording session, single song release to christian radio, photo session, free advertisements, and an opportunity to sing on the main stage with the nights headline singers, which were Lulu Roman and the Freemans. She is so excited to see what God is going to do with the door that has been opened. Bo has never stopped praying for God to move. She feels HE is going to do great things in her life and continue to change hearts all along the way through her ministry. Bo has her new project that was released in September of 2007. It has a little southern gospel and a little contemporary music on it. Songs on the project are "God Bless America," Gerald Crabb's, "Don't you wanna go, Hold me while I cry, and Shephards Call, " "Redeemer, "The Potters Hand," "All my tears," and more. It also features Bo's three year old daughter, Abigail singing "God Gave you to me." She plans to record an original project in 2008.Bo asks that every one please pray for her. She wants God to lead in every decision she makes in her Ministry and God to be magnified above all. She is so thankful to everyone who encourages her to use her talent for singing.
