MR XS started DJ-ing at the very tender age of 11 years old! Unsure of exactly how he got into it, but buying some cheap belt drive decks from the back of DJ Magazine. At that age he didn't know any other DJ's, so he had to teach himself everything! This is going back a few years now, and at the time was buying Tracks like, Kariya - Let Me Love You For Tonight and Lisa Lisa & The Cult Jam - Let The Beat Hit 'em etc..etc..he remembers raising a few eyebrows when he used to walk into record shops and ask for tunes, as he was very young! Before he knew it, word had spread and everyone in the area had heard of him and he ended up on pirate radio at the age of 15!! Red-Eye FM in West London. Self tought, MR XS also managed to blag residency at the biggest club in the area at the time, Mirage in Windsor (A.K.A, House Of Windsor, Monarchy), by fooling the management that he was 18 years of age! MR XS now DJ's on the UK's Longest Running House Music Station, Point Blank 90.2 FM every Saturday 4-6pm (GMT), which broadcast live to London and live to the world via www.pointblank.fm. He's been with Point Blank for the last 7 years. He also plays out regularly in Clubs and bars in Royal Windsor, Ascot, Watford and all over London including many Famous West end Clubs. As well as being hot on the decks, he also has a massive talent in the studio, making his own music and started learning when he was about 12 years old when his uncle tought him how to use an old Atari with Cubase (this is going way back! Who remembers the old black and white Ataris, Hey!). He ended up going round there after school most of the time and making tracks! Things just progressed from there. Recently, he has already released 2, 12" vinyl's over the years with the last one being limited to only 1000 copies and selling out within 3 weeks and then getting signed up to a massive company in Germany who then bought it out on CD compilation with other massive artists such as, Reel People, Orange Muse, Mark Knight, Osunlade, Soul Avengerz etc. These sold 20,000 Worldwide! the track was called, "Believe In Yourself" and originally came out on, "Jump Da Shark" Records, You can check it out for yourself if you select and play it in the player above.
