Rapha

Rapha (Raffaele De Mato) was born in Naples on September 2 1979. Music has always been a big passion. As a child, he began to study and play pianoforte and canto. A conservatory graduate in piano performance, author and music producer, he is searching for a new sound. He rearranges reggae, Pop, Rock, Hip Hop or any other type of music. He is now working on the Moodhula project, of which he is singer, pianist, music and sound producer, and author of Moodhula songs. In 2003, Moodhula shared stage with Mad Professor, ambassador of Reggae/Dub music. In the same year, Rapha composed music with Renato Minale (24grana). In 2005, while recording the first moodhula's demo, he was chosen to participate in Festivals and Indie music contests such as “Giovani suoni” and “A13 SudFestival”. He appears with Moodhula with a rearranged song on the “Napoli Sound System 2” compilation, together with Almamegretta, 24 grana, and Zulù (99posse). Now he is studying canto with Gabriella De Carlo, who involved him in “Anime griffate” where he will play music, sing songs and recite: they and other artists will put on show in De poche theatre in Naples. Based in Naples, he spends most of his time working in the studio, or arranging music.
