Lomelindi

Lómelindi are a Dublin-based duo comprising Laura Kilty and Ian Mc Donnell. Laura is a vocalist trained in both classical and jazz and is studying for a Masters in Music and Media Technologies in Trinity. Ian has completed a Masters in Music and Media Technologies at Trinity, and also plays in electronic duo Lakker. Both are involved in the composition of their music which is a mix of vocal lines from all genres, electronic beats and instruments, all put in the form of pop/rock-style songs. Their influences are many but include Aphex Twin, Nina Simone, Bjork, Steve Reich, Donnacha Dennehy, Tool, Ella Fitzgerald, Timbaland, Luciano Berio and Arvo Part.
