From the West of Ireland, Kate does lots of different things for 'to specialise is to brush one tooth'.* Most recently she has just completed an M.Phil in Music & Media Technologies at TCD, where her thesis research focused on extended vocal techniques and their use in intermedia art works.

She likes combining artistic disciplines and is currently working on an installation entitled 'Voice Box', visualising the voice with reflected video and still images.

She has also been known to talk about herself in the third person.
