i live in nürnberg...that..s a city with an evil history-but anyway... i came to hiphop and electro when it first started. back in the days there were loads of people listening to electro...(i..ve been listening to kraftwerk before when i was 9 or 10, so it was a natural move) we didn..t use that term back then, it was simply rap...all those categories were invented, when slow, samplebased tracks started to come out...basically NWA killed electro...though they started out with "panic zone"-which was one of the last really good electrojamz from LA...---through the 90..s i..ve been into graffiti, and i was the first fully operational writer in my town...after 10 years of painting walls and trains i got busted...and decided to buy some instruments and produce music instead of being hunted for art...i never really could afford the equipment before, but i learned how to program beats when i was a kid, though!since then i..ve been there with every phase hiphop went through...and i..m not too happy ..bout where we are today! in fact i do not see myself anymore as a member of the hihop-world...it..s homophobic stance pisses me off, and i don..t give a fuck about all that bling-bling-fake gangsta-shit...especially not so called "german hiphop", (bushido, sido, azad, fler, etc.) cuz most of it is just a whack copy of american-industry-rap...and if one of those "gangsta..s" ever had to deal with all that criminal-street shit, that I went through...just 4 one week...they..d be runnin..home to mommie... most hiphop-people i..ve met in the past 18 years, proved to be assholes...most of them smile in ya face and then stab yo back, ya see... there are a few exceptions, though...like my homie SHEMROK for instance...he has a very unique way to deal with those issues...or ORKAN GAZI!!! of course i do not count oldschool artists or friends still here to that "blacklist of fake-ass-MF..s"...i..m not against rap, but the game has got to change, or it will defeat itself...but that..s just my opinion, surely a lot of people would disagree... nowadays i..m very much into the first new-wave records, too...(gary numan, John foxx etc.)i think it..s kinda related to electro...i..m doing my own party-series 4 years now,(ELECTRIK BOOGALOO @ DESI), including my homies JAMTECH and BOOOGIETRONIK...which happens occasionally...but i wanna change it to a regular thing now, cuz there is a lot of very good stuff coming out these days...it..s kind of a resistance thing-sometimes! nürnberg-city desperately needs some real ELECTROBEATZ (instead of whack technotunes labelled electro-just because that word is hip...) everyone interrested in good electronic music or oldschool hiphop/funk is welcome...and i guarantee 4 some really fresh stuff-period!..
