Sebastian Knoll aka Psy-Funky was born in 1975 in Freiburg im Breisgau and moved to Nürnberg in 1993. When he first got his hands at turntables in a club in 1997 he had no chance but stay with it. His style varies between Electro and Techno and is a mixture between psychedelic sounds and stomping basses. Combined with influence from the Brighton Techno scene, his sound keeps up what the name promisses. In 2001 he opened the Lallapalooza Recordstore and started with his own Clubevent Seti-Project-Afterhour "Dirty Beatz from Space" ZBau / Roter Salon Nuremberg. Since 2002, Psy Funky is part of Kabbala, the way coolest party in Nuremberg and the surrounding area. 2004 it was enough, i had the best time @ Kabbala. In November 2005 it was the time to start SETI Project @ Nano Club, Nuremberg - I headed for the the future, moved to zOOm Club...and now I have CONTACT! Every last Friday in the month @ Zoom Club Nürnberg and now it..s the future!
