Nicole Vanessa Llanera Schaar aka Nikki Honey was born in the year 1981 of a German father and a Filipina mother. Music has always been her passion. At a young age in 1992 she first discovered Hip Hop and R&B music. Things rapidly changed when she was fascinated with electronic Music 1998 after visiting the legendary Kunstpark Ost and Ultraschall Club in Munich. That's when she had her first contact with the electronic clubscene and clubmusic while attending different parties and events in Germany. Strongly influenced by the music played in Clubs like A9, 1210, Planet House, Airport, Stammheim and the U60311 Techno became part of her life. In early 2001 she decided to get her own equipment, bought turntables and a mixer and started her first attempts with deejaying. Because she had so much fun, she got more involved. Her biggest importance is never to stay in cessation and to keep playing versatile and diversified. Besides using Decks she's a keen follower of new technologies and utilizes the likes of Rane Serato and a Soundbite XL Loopsampler. She loves playing deep minimal, fresh techhouse or just pure funky and groovy techno Sets. In 2007 she gets started with producing in combination with software. So stay tuned!!!
