There must be something in that Brooklyn water that keeps inspiring and turning out young MCs who are ready to pick up the lyrical torch and carry it into the next millennium. Yes, Brooklyn, New York has historically been a breeding ground for relevant talent and Christopher Reid, also known as Pass The Fith, carries on this tradition.Fiths love of music runs deep and wide. Raised in a single parent home with his with his sister by his mom, there was always music in the house. He was affected by it all. At first it was Baby Face, Boys II Men and LL Cool J. Then his passion became focused on DMX, The Lox and Nas.In addition to the influences at home, as a young child he spent countless hours in rehearsal and recording studios, while his mom pursued her musical dreams. There is where he soaked up original Hip-Hop and R & B influences, observed the creative process at work, developed his rhythmic sensibilities and honed his love of Hip-Hop.When Fith began writing rhymes at the age of 15 little did he know that those rhymes would give him a voice. A voice that can speak to both the streets and the boardroom letting the masses know what is really going on in the hearts and minds of his generation. At the age of 18 he started documenting and recording his music. And, now at the age of 22, Fith is prepared to take his place among Brooklyns finest.Yes, there is definitely something in that Brooklyn water. Something that when mixed with the perfect amount of talent and heart, grows the most significant MCs in Hip-Hop. Pass the Fith is adding his name to that list. YOUNG JEEZY
