check out my music if you are interested - "cecil's refrain" (it's in my friends section with the pic of the guitar). comments welcome - we artists are notoriously thick skinned ;)other than that I speak some japanese, like to read, write, and 'rithmatic (not the last one actually), and keep finding ways to waste time when all i really want to do is just do what i really want to do, rather than what's easy -follow?

"It's amazing, It's incredible." ~ N. DynamiteBasically I'm in love with music. I give it my all on the guitar, and am currently messing around with piano and fretless bass, and I do my best to sing. I record my own songs and it's perhaps the one thing i can sink into and rise again hours later. I listen to all kinds of stuff. Lately I've been really into Lewis Taylor and John Scofield. I'm hoping to put something together with friends down here in Arkansas. Ultimatley, Music is language without borders. No tower of Babel ever fell on Music and God can quote me on that!
just saw: Just saw: "300" - lots of nice pictures, but blah overall. "Letters from Iwo Jima" - very very good - though extremely sad. I can't wait to see "Hot Fuzz" - the guys from "Shawn of the Dead" are back, as popo in a little brit town! crikey...
Well, Jeana and I are going without cable - we don't watch any TV and it's pretty cool. We rent movies free from the public library and I have to say we're amazing ourselves. Let's see how long this lasts (CURRENTLY 9 MONTHS!)
I just read Stephen King's "THE DARK TOWER" - books 3 - 7, in about 2 months time, and now I'm sort of worn out from reading. They were great though, really a great read. I still spend most of my time subbbbbing and (while I'm babysitting the little brats) studying Japanese- I love it. ::see superpowers below to understand::
If I was a superhero I always wanted my power to be only that I could speak any language on the planet. As to personal heros, I never really got singularly fixed upon a person (famous, infamous, or little people like us). However, I really dig Michael Hedges and George Harrison - I guess I'd call them heros as their music, more consistently than any other, can actually move me to start that itchy, burning eye sensation, where they get sort of moist and drip maybe even a little bit. Ok, I cry sometimes.
