I was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to Washington State when I was five. Grew up in Federal Way, a city 22 miles south of Seattle...went to UDUB (University of Washington) and moved to LA in 1995. Now, I'm living my own "E! True Hollywood Story." I play the saxophone and I'm too nice for my own good. Yet, karma still manages to kick my ass for no reason. What's that saying..."Nice guys always finish last?" The story of my life. At the moment, I'm a workaholic (not by choice) due to the nature and timing of my career. I'm in my office all day then off to one of my venues in the evening. Therefore, sleep is something that I treasure dearly. I've also developed an obsessive fear of shaking people's hands because of the nightclub business...all those nasty fu*kers shaking my hand...hand sanitizer, anyone? I used to run the legendary Garden of Eden for several years and was well known for my Sunday nights ("Suk Night") at the House of Blues Foundation Room...ahhh, the good 'ol days. Currently, Mood is still going strong in year four. Opera and Crimson are up and running 7 nights a week. Construction of East Restaurant & Lounge is under way and coming soon, the long awaited remodel of The Garden of Eden...HEIR. I'm also relocating to Las Vegas in May to join the group that owns TAO and Marquee (NYC) to open up LAVO Nightclub & Restaurant at The Palazzo Resort & Casino (Summer 08).
