“That track is dirty”.A coined phrase stated every time Dirt Track would lace another track on their unsuspected listeners. Dirt Track Production is made up of the dynamic duo- two of Canada’s most inspiring and talented producers. Stephen Muttoo and Kerry Westmas. Bringing their expertise to the table to create that Dirty sound. Stephen Muttoo who has been in the industry for more than 20 years, a real pioneer of the urban scene within Canada. From national recognition for winning a number of local dance competitions, breakdancing in several television appearances including talent and variety shows and a special live performance on the Miss Teen Canada Pagent. In addition, to Stephen Muttoos’ dancing ability and his experience of keeping his ears to the sounds of the streets. Stephen stepped into the world of broadcast, being the natural that he was hosted a weekly gig called The Confunkshun Show lasting 5 years. This additional experience helped mold him into the next chapter and climax of his career. Taking what he learned in a street-style mentality. Stephen then enrolled in college to study music engineering and production. With the combination of the two- Stephen was unstoppable, well seasoned and experienced. Before Dirt Track, there was Brick-House Entertainment formed with producer ONeal Ramjeet, the two produced for several projects including a house track for Muchmusic, A talent showcase The Big Show where they only promoted the show but, produced and recorded all the tracks for the feature group Holdin Mic s Stephen can also be heard on the track “All Nite” by Landlord ft.Choice, where Stephen shows off his other talents as a feature artist whose smooth voice carries the hook for Landlord track. Shortly after Brick House Entertainment and producer ONeal Ramjeet went on hiatus. Stephen and his new partner Kerry got to work and formed a company calling it Dirt Track Productions. Together Kerry Westmass and Stephen Muttoo have produced numerous tracks for talented artists under the T-Yo Records label ranging from Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall and Blues along with a few Pop and Rock remixes. The duos combination of musical knowledge, technical and creative ability, understanding and ambition teamed up with T-Yos roster of talented artists have proven to be a force to be reckoned with. Needless to say, the entire T-Yo camp will be steadily pumping out platinum-class tracks built on the dirty foundation of Dirt Tracks producers.
