NOMENKLATUR

Nomenklatur is a duet formed by two Djs-producers, Olivier Brucker and Olivier Rossi aka Lab Insect. Since the beginning, the first Olivier is a fan of electro new wave and industrial sounds. Going to a lot of electro goth parties and raves, he starts to work on his own compositions released on Requiem and Elektrofon labels. Lab Insect is a big fan of disco funk from the 80s and has already released different records on famous labels like Lasergun, Kurbel or Muller. The idea of adding lyrics to instrumental tracks seduces him a lot. So, after having launched the first Elektrofon parties in Paris, the idea of a duet takes shape. First steps on the track "Depraved Girl" are encouraging. The addition of lyrics gives a new dimension to the work of the two partners. After this first successful collaboration on the Ep "Ugly People" (Elektrofon), Nomenklatur develops his capacities in studio, with the Ep "Vision" (released in 2004 on Elektrofon), and on stage, with powerful live acts. This fusion between gothic electro and robotic funk takes again all its dimension on "Virtual Hopes, their new upcoming single on Space Factory, the label of David Carretta.
