I have been extremely interested in music from Sesame Street to the likes of Deftones and The Eagles all the way to Mary J Blige and Jay-Z and by the time I had reached adolescents, I began to deeply analyze rap, R&B and reggae. I noticed that a lot of the music being made today are just samples of hit songs from the past. Nothing is immoral with sampling, but I fear for the future of music because of its lack of originality and the creativity. Personally, I would like to bring that old school originality back into music in general. Another goal of mine is to create a different technique and way of sampling in which people can recognize as mine. Many samples being used by producers are very obvious to people. If one samples a song they should do it with a degree of creativity and add
their own ideas I want to pursue a career in music because it is something I love and am willing to give it my all. At the end of the day I want to be proud of what I have accomplished and enjoy every minute of it.
