I Grew up in Camden Town in the 80's and 90's, I remember The Big Yellow Teapot, Hyper Glow T-Shirts, Knightmare, Where the Wild Things are, oh I could go on forever about my childhood memories.
I started "Raving when I was 16. It was 1999 and I was into Garage. I went every Friday to Liberty @ Club Coliseum. However I went to a illegal rave when I was in the first year of secondary school (1994) where I fell asleep under an aliens legs!!
9th July 1999 - United Dance @ Bagleys. I never looked back from this rave, I loved the Old Skool Hardcore and Drum n Bass.
If I had one wish it would be to go back to 1989 and start my journey from then. I am gutted that I missed out on the best raves ever, from Acid House through to Jungle. looking back at the World Dance, Fantazia, Elevation, Sunrise, Jenkins Lane etc videos I know I missed the propa raves. So you're all lucky bastards, those who were there!
