HI nice to meet you im mc john ribs I started in drum n bass around 93/94 that is also when I met d but more about him later we was at trinity hall in Bristol when I went up To the mc said im with him and he gave me the mic and I just got up there started to Mc this was a big stage and the whole place went crazy I done one hour and after I came Off people was asking me to go back on but at the time we had to get back to London For a next set. Well from doing that set I was buzzing for a week I think all my mates was Sick of the story by the end of the week at that time devious was playing most weeks At labyrinth hackney I quickly went down there and became there top mc in a matter of weeks People in there would tell me the night is only good when ribs and devious are here I soon bought in my friend mc fro who was also a good mc and that was it we would smash it every weekend Well we was out every weekend up and down the uk then Raindance started back up again and I was soon asked to mc in the main room one night I done five hours on my jacks at raindance but I have had to wish 5000 people happy new Year I think the best time I have had on stage was at Brixton academy when the promoter Ask me to do the last set on the main stage throughout the late 90s up to 2001 we played At so many raves such as one nation rave nation jungle splash lots of clubs like bagleas S.e.1 ministry of sound lots more too much to mention some time at the end of 01 drum n bass got shit went right under ground was no girls going to the just pure man in the raves and I hated it so I stepped off in 2002 summer I was set a challenge to become a bahngra mc started to mc to bhangra and found you take away The whaling and beats are similar drum n bass so now I was a bhangra mc for three years hay I went to Pakistan and to India twice. in September 2006 I went round devious d house only for him to tell me that raindance was on that night so I went with him that night and shocking mc gave me 15 mins on the mic and do you no I must have had one hundred people come up to me and ask where have been that felt so good. I don..t just rhyme words most of my lyric..s are from things that have happened in my life I prefer to chat slow so you understand every word I say I can use both slow and fast Lots of mc..s out there rush it so you cant here what they say I hope or I don..t think I do this. When im on the mic you will always here the dj mix I can..t stand mc..s who just chat over the mix think that..s enough from me hope to see all you drum n bass heads out there Keep an eye out for me 2007 will be my year baby..
