SKYZ first started mixing in 1994, beginning his career playing at house parties in 97 where he soon got noticed by promoters, for his unique style of mixing Old and New Skool Breaks. In late 98 while running a Dj workshop for a local youth club, SKYZ got involved with Breaks fm; playing a mix of Drum n Bass and Breakbeat, this soon led to him receiving bookings for clubs all over London and the South East.
In 99 SKYZ played at a number of illegal raves and by 2001 had launched his own club night Still In Motion, held at Flamingo Park, South London. A selection of quality DJs: playing a diverse selection of Drum + Bass. April 2004 saw the Debut of his London crew Social Sound, who have since promoted the self entitled night all over London, with much success.
SKYZ has been producing music since 2000 and has a number of quality, well produced and original tracks to his name, covering all styles of drum and bass. SKYZ is also in the process of setting up his own label with Delta Connection, his production crew, to showcase their talent.
SKYZ has made appearances at a number of venues across Europe, and continues to do so, booked for his individuality, enthusiasm and ability, not only to please but to inspire.
