Music:
The exact same stuff I listened to in the 70's 80's 90's & today. I grew up on Classic Glam Rock stuff: KISS, Sweet, Angel, Starz, The New York Dolls, Cheap Trick, The Raspberries, The Beatles, Girl, Alice Cooper, & a bunch of others.I did my thing & played in bands in L.A. with varying degrees of success. {Actress, Girl Trouble, The Fabulous Disaster } Made a couple records, some of them even sold! At the end of the day, my daughter still tells her friends, "my dad was a rock star", because she's seen the old videos & pictures and stuff. And she's proud that I put her on a CD before she was 3 years old.( My way of looking at it? I was more successful than I deserved, & still not enough to satisfy my ego!)Still, I see I've done better in the rest of my life that some of my double platinum selling friends did.) I bought a nice house, built a recording studio in it, hung my gold record on the wall, & still make records when I'm ambitious enough. (Which isn't very often.)Amusing highpoints? Getting to play with Rick Springfield one night because someone requested a song his guitar player didn't know, & one of my friends yelled "He knows it!" , So I got to get up and play. ("best version of "I've Done Everything For You" he'd ever heard! ) My currently seperated from me - wife happened to mention that story to someone I hate the other day, so it's fun to be a stain that won't go away.If not for music, I'd probably be dead. Or at least want to be.
