Empyrean Sky

A Storm is Brewing...

About Me

And from the darkness there came light... to the east from the wind swept wasteland of the Midwest rises the Empyrean Sky. Gaze upward and behold a metal band that defies boundaries at every turn. The troupe born of wildly different backgrounds create a meld of music where genres disappear and only music remains.
With styles ranging from classical to jazz, blues to rock, power to prog, thrash to death metal, and everywhere in between, each member contributes influences that shape and mold what they call "Storm Core." Picture Shakespeare writing songs with Shadow's Fall, Iced Earth, Opeth, and Exodus with symphonic accompaniment. The group is comfortable combining elements rarely seen together, if at all, like three talented 7-string guitarists playing real three part harmonies and polyrhythms, catchy hooks and well placed leads, vocals of desperation and despair beneath mellifluous melodies, all acting out stories of love and lust packed into symphonic compositions of epic length.
Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, but with fans around the world, Empyrean Sky have been perfecting their craft since 1997. Now armed with their first full length album they are poised to unleash their assault.
Prepare yourself, the storm is here!
