About Me

Tentacle Dreams is Marc's latest CD recorded in LA back in 2003. Marc wrote, recorded and produced the project with some of the best known and most accomplished musicians anywhere. You may not be familiar with their names but you've heard them many times.Included in this amazing lineup was the Dixie Dregs, Mahavishnu Orchestra electric violinist, Jerry Goodman. Jerry has been "THE" foremost electric violinist paving the way since the 70's with his rippin' style and distorted tone. He is a "MONSTER" on electric violin, a natural soloist with the ear of a musical genius. Listen to the title cut "Tentacle Dreams."Unless you're a bass player you may not know the name Phil Chen, but EVERYONE has heard Phil, "Do ya think I'm sexy" on Rod Stewart's "Blondes Have More Fun" is one of the most recognizable bass lines ever written! Phils work on Jeff Beck's Blow by Blow is incomparable "Constipated Duck and Scatterbrain." Phil has played with everyone from Bob Marley to Jimmy Hendrix. Phil is "Da bass man" as he likes to refer to himself. Phil is currently touring the world with the Doors. Drummer Jimmy Paxson has backed Alanis, Montrose, Edgar Winter and is currently on tour with Stevie Nicks. Marc let Jimmy shine on "Kaos." Keyboardist Ed Roth is the softer side with a solid R&B background, previously Coolio's MD. His keys on Tentacle is nothing short of masterful.Marc is in pre-production for two new recordings simultaneously, an acoustic project and his third jazz-rock instrumental with a HEAVY guitar focus! One of Marc's collaborators Dave Trough, who just won an EMMY this month for his soundtrack work, will be working with Marc again this year providing keys and maybe some horns to the acoustic project. Marc will also be providing guitar tracks for another broadway show that he has worked on in the past.Recording will be at Marc's "Fusion Studio" nestled in the woods in Northeast Washington. ......
