Jezus in Heavens were formed by singer/songwriter Grant McNally in the Austrian alps in late 2006 . The recipe is an eclectic mix of scott walker, iggy pop and jeff buckley vocally, liberally mixed with riiffs reminicsent of the libertines and white stripes, lyrics with wit and verve inspired by jaques brel and P d, some caberet stylings and the kitchen sink (the tracks he has currently been recording, include grand piano's, blues references, punk riffs, jazz nuances, fretless basses, fairground organs and even a vienna type waltz!!!). With song of love, hate, drug warnings, the credit crunch, ghosts of friends, recurring nightmares and gourmet ready meals and a penchant for persiflage ( a french psuedo sarcastic styling). There a few subjects he has not covered in song.The over all result = Aural sex for your ears!!!
So if you are ready for a decent blast of post punk indie pop rock with a sophisticated twist and lyrical bite ----here it is.................................................AKTION!!.
