About Me

I have a website for my artwork and merchandise; jewelry, toys, purses, and pillows- all fun stuff-. it is called www.gwenjoy.com. Please check it out. My toys are half plastic clown, nun, or baby head- groovy stuff,you get the idea- and half animal body. They are called joy toys. My paintings either use mythical creatures , girls with moxy, or pop culture icons as subject matter. My painting style is considered folk art/ brut art. I currently show my art and or merchandise at the Detroit Artist Market, River's Edge Gallery, Izzy's Raw art gallery and i have two murals at The Buzz Bar-which is in Greektown and a painting and a painted table top at The Crofoot Bar in Pontiac.- I also have lots of other creative endeavors I am involved in too.
