Digital Mercenaries Back in 2001 Elusid and Dj Nocturnal were pondering the local electronic music scene specifically DNB music and the current status of the music and lifestyle that we love. You see 2001 was a very bleak year we had no venues or outlets to express and share the music. This was after the peak of Maine’s Rave Scene a time when the real party kids went underground and the kids that considered it as a fad went on to other things. All the oldschool crews had fizzled out and were no longer throwing events. Galanta, Barefoot Productions, Galactic Productions, and Dawn Patrol these were all major players in the dawn of Maine’s Rave Scene. After A LOT of brain storming we decided that we should get organized and start up an Online DJ WEBcast Radio Show where we could showcase all the local DJ talent in Maine and the tri state area. This was the conception of what is now known as the Digital Mercenaries a crew of dedicated Drum and Bass and Break Beat warriors.
