Stuff
People who love music that have 11 toes.
I likes the following: Spacemen 3, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Clientele, Amaya Laucirica, The Smallgoods, Star Stream, Adult, The Beach Boys, The Velvet Underground, Royal Chord, Ladytron, Zoot Woman, Phoenix, Antony and the Johnsons, Mr Giles Simon, The Morning After Girls, Blessington (most underrated band in Melbourne if not the world), Interpol, The Rolling Stones, Television, The Stooges, New York Dolls, The Hovercrafts, Riff Random, Nina Simone, Ride, Lucy and the Diamonds, Little Athletics, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Astral Kaleidescope, Air, Jarvis Cocker, The Beatles, Graham Coxon, Nick Cave, Mick Harvey, Dave Graney and Blue Sunshine Minds. In no particular order. I likes the noise and I likes the silence.
In a movie title: 2001: A Space Oddysey. Fast forward thru the monkeys, get to the space stuff. I love anything with Jean Reno, Harry Dean Stanton, Michael Caine, Johnny Depp, Christopher Walken and particularly Terence Stamp. Doesn't matter if the movie sucks so hard it blows, I will like it because of the above. If pressed for a list besides the aformentioned: Wings of Desire, Faraway, So Close, Breathless (the Goddard one of course), Spirits of the Air, Gremlins of the Clouds, The Shining, The Deer Hunter, Dude Where’s My Car, Ghosts ... of the Civil Dead and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. I don’t tend to watch stuff twice though.
Right now I can’t get by without The Mighty Boosh, Top Gear, Skins and Who Do You Think You Are? Gossip Girl is also excellent.
Books are possibly the only thing with the exception of music that will keep you warm when you are cold and interested when you are well bored. Books rule.
